Since space is limited, pre-registration is required. Cost is $15 per session. Make your check payable to PAG or Plantation Art Guild and on the memo line of the check indicate which session(s) you would like to attend. Send your payments and contact information (phone & email) to: Ann Garfinkel, 541 SW 181 Ave., Pembroke Pines, FL 33029. You do not have to be a PAG member to attend, but each attendee must be pre-registered.

Please note: Other than the classroom, we will only have access to the Flamingo Gardens Cafe and restrooms. Only Flamingo Garden Members will have full access to the Gardens or you may pay the full admission price.

The Summer projects are:

June 11:  Monochromatic Value Study.  Usual painting supplies & photo reference. If you can, bring a black & white Xerox copy enlarged of your photo as well.  Painting will be similar to Andrew Wyeth & Dean Mitchell.

June 25:  What to do with old paintings?  Usual supplies & several old paintings, gouache or acrylic paints, scissors, glue (I like Elmer's clear).

July 5:  Markers: permanent & water soluble.  Permanent Sharpie brand thick or thin.  Bic Mark it (I prefer these not so strong smelling)

Water soluble - Elegant Writer and Papermate Flair with white X on top of cap.

I will bring many samples of these for people to try - don't have to buy.

Bring paper brushes & watercolor paints plus a photo reference

July 23: Clouds, fog & rainy clouds - skies.  Bring photos and usual supplies.

Aug. 13: Water (ocean, streams, waterfalls & fountains) Bring reference photo's.

Aug. 27: Strong contrast painting:  mainly light (white of paper)medium and dark values.  I will provide a simplified version of one of Thomas W. Schaller's paintings or you can bring you own reference.

As always, you're welcome to "Paint-Along" with our project or do your own thing and just be social!
