About PAGEstablished in 1973, the Plantation Art Guild (PAG) strives to enrich the culture of our diverse community. PAG provides opportunities for artistic expression, education, and appreciation in a supportive and nuturing environment. Our calendar year is September through May. Meetings are held the first Monday of the month at Deicke Auditorium, 5701 Cypress Road, Plantation and meeting times alternate between day and evening. All meetings are open to the public and interested persons are invited to attend.
The Guild's basic activities include:
- demonstrations at the general meetings
by well-known artists- art shows and exhibits at Deicke Auditorium, local financial institutions, businesses and government offices
- annual luncheon
- annual field trip to art galleries
and art museums- open workshop classes and Paint-ins
at the Plantation Community CenterAll fund raising projects benefit the City of Plantation, Deicke Auditorium, Art in Public Places or scholarships for worthy high school students.
